For our client Adevinta Classifieds Group (Marktplaats) we are looking for a Senior Accountmanager Agencies.

In the role of Senior Accountmanager (Agencies) you will join a growing team responsible for executing on our advertising strategy, and supporting our large media agencies on every level. Be responsible for managing both manual and programmatic deals from start to finish and growing the relationship with the media agencies. Continuously keep the agencies up to date on the latest developments and innovations. Moreover inspire them with best practices and creative cases.

You will be part of the Advertising Sales NL team, which is part of the Benelux Advertising team. This team ensures all advertising campaigns go live without a hitch, troubleshoot any deal setup issues, are successfully optimised, and perform to client standards. The Advertising Sales NL team consists of 6 Account Managers that report into the Head of Sales Advertising. This role includes the development and delivery of campaign reports to clients and benchmarking those results against similar campaigns. Your success is measured in a number of ways, predominantly by revenue-driven quarterly targets. You will work closely together with our Advertising Success team to ensure client satisfaction.

The role is a combination of technical and commercial skills.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about digital (programmatic) advertising, great at client service, an excellent problem solver, and a quick learner.

As a Senior Account Manager within our team you need to balance between both the Farmer and Hunter role.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Interacting with top advertising agencies and top 500 direct advertisers 

  • Managing the delivery of manual, programmatic and new business ad campaigns to ensure they fulfil and run properly 

  • Working with, and meet quarterly targets

  • Develop an in-depth understanding and define the future of mobile advertising, data and programmatic sales towards the organization

  • Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years proven experience in account management, preferably with experience and a large network in the digital advertising landscape.

  • Hunger for challenge and opportunity, rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Someone who wants to go that extra mile.

  • The ideal candidate is a self starter client service with experience in digital advertising, a BA/BS degree.

  • Experience at a programmatic trading desk or agency is also helpful.

  • The successful candidate is detail-oriented, organized, has the ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, comfortable being in front of a group (internal and external)
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
