For our client ADCOMBI we are looking for a Business Development Manager – DACH Region

 

THE ROLE AND OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a hands-on Business Development Manager to lead and deliver on a major launch for Adcombi's  B2B SaaS product. A qualified candidate has experience in business development, client acquisition and sales, with a proven track record of discovering optimal, extensible and commercial solutions for clients in partnership with product managers and engineers. This person will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Customer Success and Marketing to deliver a full and successful sales cycle.

This role will be based in our DACH offices in Munich, Germany and you will report into the Managing Director DACH. A remote setup in a combination of home office and regular face-to-face meetings in Munich or Amsterdam may be considered as well. Dusseldorf is also an option.

YOUR PROFILE

- Sales and Business Development of B2B SaaS enterprise advertising platforms, solutions or technology
- Experience, knowledge and deep understanding of (local) digital and programmatic advertising
- Background Knowledge in the field of local cross-channel (on- & offline) geomarketing is a plus
- You have a book of contacts and extensive relationships across brands and media agencies
- A self-starter with the mindset or, better yet, the experience of an entrepreneur who has created his or her own business
- A person who acts with complete integrity and professionalism — both in business and outside of work settings
- A creative thinker focused on continuous personal and professional self-improvement
- Strong preference to work collaboratively in a team environment and a strong and commercial drive
- Possess exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfort with a fast-paced environment and ambiguity. You have the ability to demonstrate initiatives and are results driven and customer and user-centric
- Fluent in German and English both orally and in writing, any other language(s) is a benefit
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS product and/or programmatic media/advertising sales, ideally in Ad-Tech/Mar-Tech
- Deep understanding of leading DSPs (DV360, Adform, TTD, Xander) and SSPs and in-depth knowledge of programmatic, local and digital advertising landscape

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prospect accounts focusing on Hyperlocal advertising products and services
- Identify and develop new opportunities as well as follow up on existing leads
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with key target accounts, both brand direct and with agencies
- Manage assigned accounts to generate both incremental and repeatable annual business, initiate and manage RFI and RFP process and negotiate terms for all opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships are key to help clients’ progress on their on-boarding and integration journey with Adcombi
- Take full ownership and responsibility of creating, optimizing, implementing and managing the full sales cycle including operation flow, process and documentation
- Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and skills for the Adcombi solution, our technology, the digital media and advertising in general so that you’re constantly able to solve clients’ challenges
- Assist the DACH Managing Director with the overall development and delivery of our business goals as well as growth and expansion strategy
