Job Description

For our client, a premium car manufacturer from China, we are searching for a Parts Supervisor in the Philippines. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Report overages, shortages, or damaged items to Parts Manager and National Aftersales Senior Manager
  • Record and post parts issued to proper repair orders.
  • Notify lead if the customer removed accessories for the parts area.
  • Setup orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
  • Regularly assist management in replenishment of sold inventory.
  • Ensure the work area is kept in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Responsible for receiving parts, labeling parts, and placing them in inventory.
  • Review tasks performed by Parts Staff throughout the shift and identify opportunities for improvements to training methods and communicate to supervisors.
  • Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
  • Work with others to compile records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure that all incomplete tasks are documented and conveyed via accepted method of handoff between shift changes.
  • Serve as a reference point and mentor to the team in all aspects of stockroom operations 
  • that are applicable to their respective job classifications.
  • Log processed work into computer program or tracking system as required.
  • Responsible for order entry and order management for the Dealer Network customers.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher; Technical Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Other relevant disciplines would also be considered in connection with experience.
  • Professional Experience: At least 3 years with spare parts and inventory management
  • Knowledge in SAP/ERP system is an advantage
  • Intermediate knowledge in Logistics Systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
  • Computer literate (MS Office Applications)
