For our client, a premium car manufacturer from China, we are searching for a GL Senior Accounting Executive in the Philippines. 

Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily accounting operations, including closing the full set of books and implementing appropriate internal control procedures.
• Analyzing financial statements and reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices
• Safeguard all company’s assets and equipment by regular monitoring, lapsing and annual physical count, etc.
• Manage inventory records, develop and implement inventory management procedures.
• Perform inventory costing and analysis and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure that all BIR regulatory requirements are accomplished properly and in a timely manner.
• Handle tax related matters/BIR assessments by preparing audit requirements and carry out tax declaration.
• Establish accounting system and implement improvements for effective and efficient accounting operations.
• Maintains relationship with clients and internal/external stakeholders, including auditors, tax consultants, BIR and other government departments on client company’s affairs, accounts, tax filing, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, CPA is an advantage/preferred. 
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in general accounting, financial statements preparation and reporting, audit and taxation.
• Sound knowledge of Philippine Accounting standards and Tax regulations
• Knowledge in SAP or any ERP System is an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skill set and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail-oriented.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in automotive is preferred.
