Job Description

For our client, a premium car manufacturer from China, we are searching for an Auto Financing Manager in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing financing solutions that meet our customers' needs, overseeing the entire financing process, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. This role requires a deep understanding of financial products, excellent leadership skills, and a strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities:

  • Financing Strategy Development: Design and implement innovative financing strategies that enhance product accessibility and affordability for customers.
  • Customer Financing Solutions: Oversee the development and promotion of competitive financing packages, including loans, leases, and insurance products, tailored to both individual and corporate clients.
  • Partnership Management: Build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies to secure favorable terms and conditions for financing and insurance products.
  • Agreement Management: Work closely with legal department to evaluate the financial risk associated with auto financing agreements and ensure all financing operations comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Market Analysis: Regularly analyze market trends and customer preferences to stay ahead of industry developments and adjust financing offerings accordingly.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present reports on financing activities, portfolio performance, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure the auto financing team delivers high-quality customer service, guiding customers through the financing process with transparency and support.
  • Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the line manager, which may vary according to the needs of the department or organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or professional certification in finance is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto financing, banking, or a closely related field, with at least 1 year in a managerial position.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, including loans, leases, and insurance, specifically within the automotive industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Proficient negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of developing partnerships with financial institutions.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, fluent in English and preferably in another European language.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
