Position Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our growing team. The TAM will play a critical role in managing client relationships, ensuring the successful implementation of our retail media advertising technology, and providing strategic and technical support. You will act as a liaison between the client and our internal teams, ensuring that our solutions meet the client’s business needs and are delivered effectively. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, account management skills, and deep understanding of the retail media and advertising space.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing day-to-day communication, and fostering long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and provide strategic insights on how to leverage our retail media solutions to achieve them.
- Conduct regular check-ins, QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), and performance reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
Technical Expertise:
- Lead the technical implementation and integration of our retail media adtech solutions for clients, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to manage custom implementations and feature requests.
- Provide technical training and onboarding for clients, ensuring they can effectively use the platform and related tools.
Campaign Support:
- Assist clients in setting up, optimizing, and troubleshooting ad campaigns across various digital channels (e.g., programmatic, display, search).
- Monitor campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to enhance ROI.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Liaise with internal teams, including sales, product management, and customer success, to ensure smooth delivery of services and support.
- Gather and communicate client feedback to product teams to help shape the roadmap and improve the overall offering.
Data-Driven Insights:
- Analyze data from campaigns and platforms to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for clients.
- Provide reports and recommendations based on performance data to optimize the use of retail media tools and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical account management role, preferably in adtech, martech, or retail media.
- Strong understanding of retail media, programmatic advertising, and digital marketing ecosystems.
- Proficiency in adtech platforms, DSPs (Demand Side Platforms), SSPs (Supply Side Platforms), and campaign management tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously with attention to detail and a client-first mentality.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, etc.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with API integrations and troubleshooting technical setups.
- Familiarity with major eCommerce and retail platforms.
- Experience in SaaS solutions for digital advertising.
