For our client , a Chinese Car maker launching a new brand in the Australian market we are looking for a  Marketing Director

 

Job Description:

  1. Work closely with agencies to locally develop and implement the new car model launch strategy and communication plan
  2. Align with global strategic brand/business plans, create an Australian local launch and annual brand plan to build a consistent brand image.
  3. Responsible for creative development: Lead the development of the creative for all local events, and lead gen campaigns with third parties. Roll out the creative to all touch points across paid, owned, and earned channels to support the campaign.
  4. Cooperate with paid media agency to plan and execute all digital marketing activities (offline and online), ensuring all media is tracked, and optimised for conversion.
  5. Plan and execute the local public relations strategy aligned with the overall business goals. Generate positive publicity through digital, social, editorial, and broadcast channels, influencers, and external media events
  6. Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis.
  7. Help to grow brand awareness, web traffic, social following, and leads.
  8. Report to our client's Headquarters periodically on local campaigns and channel success and insights through assessment of analytics.
  9. Be involved in consumer insights and research studies to inform consumer messaging.
  10. Managing Marketing Specialists and third parties working for the our client brand in the Australia market.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. A Bachelors degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field (an MBA is desirable)
  2. English can be used as a working language, and speaking Chinese is preferred.
  3. Extensive marketing experience within the automotive industry or related fields
  4. A comprehensive understanding and knowledge of brand management, and owning demonstrated expertise in introducing a new brand in Australia is preferred.
  5. A minimum of five years of current experience in branding and integrated marketingautomotive brand experience is a plus!
  6. Demonstrated ability to interpret conceptual ideas and come up with appropriate marketing solutions
  7. Up-to-date with the latest trends and marketing best practices
